Now, more than ever, people are becoming more aware of their reliance on energy companies for their heating, hot water, and home energy supply.

Residential solar PV has experienced a huge surge in interest in the last 12 months due to skyrocketing energy prices, reduced costs of solar PV technology, and government grants for installing solar pv in the home.

Solar PV systems for residential typically range from 4kW - 6kW however many are now installing larger systems up to 9kW. There is now the option of selling excess electricity back to the grid with suppliers paying between 20c and 24c per unit so homeowners can now sell excess electricity during the summer months which helps offset their bills during the winter months.

Solar PV systems can also be used to heat the hot water in the home, charge EVs (electrical vehicles), and add battery storage to charge batteries during the day to be used in the evening.
